Mavis Stanfield
Mavis Stanfield brings more than 25 years of zoning, planning, code, and permit experience in Northern Virginia. Her public-service career includes senior roles with Fairfax County and the City of Alexandria.
She served as Urban Planner III with the City of Alexandria and previously held Deputy Zoning Administrator and senior code-specialist roles with Fairfax County. Her work included zoning review, land-use applications, public hearings, training, supervision, and coordination with applicants, agencies, and communities.
Mavis holds a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in History from George Mason University. She brings technical precision, practical judgment, and clear communication to every engagement.
